Eye eye....

At the bottom of the garden, beyond the pond, we have an area that is, shall we say, uncultivated.... A few years ago I cleared a section of this area and sowed some meadow flower seed. For various reasons this area has't been as successful as we'd like and we only had moderate success the first year with Poppies, Cornflowers, Scarlet Pimpernels and Ox-eye Daisies like the one shown above.

Several years on we have a few Scarlet Pimpernels and Ox-Eye Daisies flower in the end part and these are both flowering at the moment.
