St Josephs

This is St Josephs in Temuka a beautiful stone church. This is the last one in my series of churches. I could go on photographing these for a long time as there are so many different designs out there to choose from.

I have enjoyed this series. I wonder how many people actually take note of them until they no longer stand due to earthquake or other calamity.

The ones in Christchurch where I lived for 20 years that have fallen to the earthquake. I had taken them for granted for so long and never bothered to capture on camera. Maybe we should photograph these buildings and others for a record of the past.
