Hope University-New Building

Hectic few days. Spent over and hour in traffic with a few cones and not a workman in sight when we eventually arrived at th"road works". Into tackling the overgrown garden in North Wales. Out for a meal with a group of cousins whose grand -parents were all brothers and sisters. Not sure how much removed we are as cousins. My cousin who did the meal and her husband hadi lived out in the middle east for a number of years so that was the theme of the meal. All delicious and remarkably healthy, no bloated feeling despite eating loads. Very late night or early morning. Up to more gardening then a swift return to Liverpool as I was going to a talk at Hope University by Martin Greenland (of our art weekend). Quick return home to pick up R as we were out at a function entertained by two guys who played music from the 50's and 60's. Very good night. Today the family, still here until the carpet and floor are fitted, have gone to Chill Factor for a birthday party I have spent some time in the loft with no chance of making much progress. It's going to be a long job!
