Meet the neighbours

Is there some kind of Cameron-led community initiative going on? Is that the reason we had a 'street party' today? Except it wasn't in the street but in a car park/back yard.
It was nice to meet some of the inhabitants of the road. Dot, who has lived here 20 years, had never met Shirley and Ken who have lived here for 35 years. Blimey.
But then again, I'd never met either of them.
