Osborne plan isn't working...

.....relatively early rise to feed the cat and the boy who appears to be feeling better. A spot of faffing about ensued and then we hauled on our hikers and walked up the Water of Leith to the Modern Art Gallery to see the Jeff Koons exhibition. It's quite jolly but Owen enjoyed some abstraction on the first floor more.

We sandwiched our stroll around the gallery with lunch and then a coffee before heading off down the water, via Dean Village to home. Isn't Well Court an absolutely stonking building? (Did you see what I did there?)

Later we did some bits and bobs shopping for summer camp, and then finished our day of culture by visiting Asda, Leith.

Home now and I'm full of BBC Paella......get in my tummy you lovely rice dish.

And the weekend is over already.
