Angel of mercy

Went out with Liz and Nick today to follow one of the CAMRA ale trails in interesting old London hostelries (beards not compulsory!). Unfortunately it tipped it down for most of the afternoon so we scurried between bars and this was the view from the Angel,http://www.fancyapint.com/Pub/502 not far from Holborn and the amazing Princess Louise. Cosy inside with wooden panels, velvet drapes trimmed with ruffles and a proper snug. Cosy colours outside too.
