Sports Day

Summer arrived for sports day with temps reaching 27 degrees. Wee Erin qualified for the P2 finals and came third overall - well done! Tho I must say I was a bit disappointed with the lack lustre winners presentations. Ok I wasn't thinking of the national anthem with bouquets of flowers - but a measly sticker once you cross the line was a bit of a let down.

What's wrong with celebrating our kids sporting talents? We all have different God given gifts and surely the ability to perform on a sports field counts as one of them?
