suspended...

...on the rose bush

the roses are blooming - in all their glory! well, two of the bushes are thus far... so white roses and red are beginning to open all over - producing the most beautiful of blossoms. when they decide to spring forth, there is no stopping them. one day, tight buds - the next, wide open blooms. quite lovely indeed to partake of such a wonderful sight.

i don't know the variety of roses that these are... just that they are small, delicate and the most gentle of white. some on the bush have almost a blush to them versus an actual white - which i find fascinating since they're on the same bush. how can that be?

you may see me blipping many rose shots over the next days to take advantage of this beauty in my own backyard. they won't last long.... especially since the weather has turned quite hot suddenly. it's a once-a-year opportunity i don't want to miss out on... we'll have to see how creative i might be able to get. ya know, i can pull the abstract card, too... boo!
