Ruddy Duck

Usually very shy by the time we could get the car stopped and camera ready to snap a picture the Ruddy Ducks we have seen thus far have long swam to the back of whatever pond we have seen them in. Today we were luck enough that this particular bird decided he wanted to have his picture taken. He even put on a comical display of slapping the water with his blue beak and bobbing his head up and down for us.
