After a long afternoon siesta Miss and Master B showed little sign of tiredness come bedtime. So I took them out for some cycling (Miss B) and driving (Master B) at the local recreation ground. The vehicles were abandoned for a spot a climbing frame action and some spinning while I tailed Master B around the park doing a risk assessment.

Both safely back in the car and not a yawn in sight, we drove up to the sheep/lamb field nearby. Both children refusing to do any counting!

Back at the ranch we managed to get them both in bed around 9pm. Chance of a lie-in in the morning?

Slim but worth a shot.
