Bridge at Salford Quays

Dad, my daughter and I spent the day in Salford.

We wandered around the ancient Ordsall Hall , which pleased my Dad no end, as the recently renovated building was full of new oak carpentry. He's a retired joiner and he admired the new woodwork more than the Tudor period original stuff.

Out of Ordsall Hall and over to the Lowry shopping centre for a quick lunch, a brief shop, and a very enjoyable walk around the Quays. As I took photos, my daughter walked arm in arm with her Grandad, which made me smile.

We walked over this bridge during our stroll, and my Dad and daughter can be seen on the right in the distance.
