Beach

Don't you just love that word? Today we all (there are about 70 people total going on the band trip) piled onto a tour bus and got the grand tour of the area surrounding Waikiki. At the top of Diamond Head, the panoramic view was awesome. At the monument to the first king of Hawaii, one of the guys "accidentally" dropped a gecko down my band teacher's shirt. It took him a while to get it out. Later we went to the beach for sun, sand, and surf. Perfect day.

There was also a semi-pretty view from the hotel balcony.
