Exchanged! (Again)

Finally, we have exchanged on our purchase!! You may be wondering why we are selling the lovely old cottage I blipped last week to buy this rather ugly lump.. Well the current house is listed and on a very small spot which means that whilst it is a fantastic house it cannot give us some of the things we need. It also has a tiny garden.

The new house is on a much bigger plot (nearly an acre) so we have a huge garden with a river at the bottom, as it was built in the 1970's the only planning restrictions are those in place because we live in a conservation area. The plan is that we end up with a cool, open plan, modern house in complete contrast to what we have now. We are meeting the designers there tomorrow, all very exciting but is rather scary, especially as we move next Friday (17th) and the house is a dump.
