DAY OF DAYS

ive been abit hit n miss with blipping
lately. the days at work are to long
sometimes. talking of which!!

today is the day that Hitler was given
a bloody nose during WW2. the invasion
was the biggest ever air and sea operation
carried out.

my drawing is signed by some of the pilots
that took part on that day. depicted are some
of the aircraft that were used by the airborne
troops to reach their destinations.

some were gliders, made out of wood
and fabric with little or no protection against
the anti aircraft fire coming from the ground.
