No Trouble At Mill
Spent the day driving south from Aberdeen back to Oxford. In an attempt to avoid eating at motorway services we took what was intended to be a short detour to the National Trust Acorn Bank Garden and Watermill near Penrith.
They did indeed provide an excellent lunch plus chance to wander around a delightful garden (with a particularly good herb garden) and through a woodland to see a lovely restored mill fed by the wonderfully named Crowdundle Beck.
