monday market

this has to be one of my favourite things to do...

on a Monday lunchtime sitting eating noodles, watching the comings and goings in the antique market in jubilee hall. Jane, my friend at the Chinese and her chef, make good Singapore noodles and just watching the haggling, laughing, messing of the stall holders contrasting with the general confusion of tourists who thought they'd come to buy "I love London" tee shirts is great.

The you get some shoppers who do know their stuff, and whip out a jewellers loupe when they come to buy. I've bought some interesting stuff of these guys myself.
