back to school... ish

So, today as well as being gardening leave day whatever (I can't even count over 4 - must be a serious brian deficiency*) was my first self-appointed day of pre-course Prince2 studying... I've got a lot of reading to do before next week. Today I think I did about half of it, which is good progress.

We also had to have a bonfire this evening, because Betty the hen (who had been broody last year - see here and here) decided that she'd had enough of life and unfortunately and very sadly died overnight. We gave her a good send-off, with plenty of sage and other garden finery. She was a good hen.

*I know I do sometimes spell things wrong, but this is intentional, for the humour, see?
