Goodbye

Tonight was the Varsity Awards Dinner for my school which I attended with a lot of other kids from Track and Cross Country. It had to be one of the saddest things I have ever been to because I had to say goodbye to my coach who retired this year. Coach Bill Hedgecock is the most winningest coach in New York State and is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. He pushed you so hard and always wanted your best. He was such an amazing coach and I truly loved him and thought of him as family. It is so hard to see him go. It is the end of a truly amazing coaching era, but hopefully the beginning of a new one.
