Overload
Today was my first day back after being away most of last week at a conference. Everything had built up and I spent the day dealing with the problems that needed solving, the catch up with students, the need to change some planning, a management meeting - all normal parts of any day but today they felt like overload.
The downpipes also faced overload - not coping with some fairly torrential rainfall. I love rain, but even I will admit that rain this heavy really isn't ideal at lunch time when the kids need to be outside burning off some energy.
I have previously blipped rain gushing from some of the newly painted spouting at school. This shot is taken from the verandah of the building that didn't get painted this year. Paint chips, paint layers and rust. Nice contrast to that lovely clean water.
