Racing home to safety......

For a long weekend it was short!

Back to work today - and the news that resonates with me the most is that for the first time since records began, there has been not a single death on the roads this long weekend. All the more amazing (to me at least) because the weather was pretty lousy thus, I figure, driving conditions would have been pretty lousy too.

It seemed pertinent to acknowledge this rather remarkable national achievement.

Tomorrow, half way through period 3 we will be exactly half way through the term....

.....not that I'm counting ;) !!
