Photogs and Fire

Today's Adventure ... playing with fire after setting up camp in the Mission Mountains...

Shane, an old friend from journalism school, and I hiked up on his Mission Mountain turf this weekend. Things typically progress slower when anything is done with two photographers...but the pictures you get are worth it!

After getting the fire going, Shane continued to snap photos while I demonstrated the not-so-hot flames that were being produced by a layer of pine needles. Did not necessarily MEAN to have my hand engulfed in flame, but it makes for a gnarly photo.
