Summer showers

Back to work today. Unfortunately I missed the hailstorm, thunder and lightning. I heard it was something else. Sister coming back from holiday this evening - hurray. Glad to have her back to help out with family visits.

When I got home this evening the garden looked soaked. Took this pic of a peony rose before it opened. Looking forward to seeing the blooms fully open.

On the cooking tonight and need inspired. Off to find a cookery book.
