Back from the dead

I thought these little pansies had died off a while a go, the flowers had mostly gone & it was a sprawling mass of half dead leaves.

I left it in the pot but hacked it back a bit & pulled off all the dead bits - and amazingly it now seems to be thriving again. I love the colours, so pretty.

I'd just done the watering so you can still see the water on the petals - no rain here today, it's been nice and sunny, though not very warm. Most of my plants are doing well, apart from my butternut squash plants, I've got 3 in a growbag and although they are still alive, they are not really thriving, so if anyone has any tips please let me know!
