Signs of Spring

I've had a very busy week, so haven't had much time to observe anything closely.
As I was driving home tonight, I noticed that many trees have buds, which is very exciting. Especially when the weather is like today - super windy and freezing. The kind of cold that gives you an ice cream headache when you go outside...
I braved the howling winds and found these pretty things in my neighbor's yard.
