Nice weather for snails too

Another wet day in the Basque Country. And Navarra. Long day on the road today from Ea to San Sebastian to see the Combs of the Wind, and a bizarre old funfair atop Monte Iguelda via funicular. Then on to Pamplona, briefly, before a long drive back via Vitoria Gastiez and Bilbao. About 300 miles I reckon. Sorcha was not impressed and shouted her lungs out and fighting sleep the whole way.

Despite all the wonderful sights I singularly failed to take any blipable shots today. So, outside this evening the rain-soaked walkway to our hacienda was littered with snails. Two of which I stood on without meaning to. Hence this evening's photo.

Sorry snails. Hopefully this entry will serve as a suitable tribute to the snail gods for my inadvertent murders.
