Colour my world.
Bliss. Absolute bliss was today. I had no exams, and no real need to be in school. However I ventured in and got myself out of bed so as to have my flute and piano lessons.
I had my piano lesson, and went quite nicely. Then had half an hour till my flute lesson which was handy cause it meant I could get away quickly. So I went to the art room, had a quick chat with my teacher and checked everything was okay for the examiners moderation next week. Then when I went back to the music room for my flute lesson, I caught my teacher as she was rushing out the door, she had come in to tell me she had to take her daughter to school, and would unfortunately have to cancel my lesson. Which was a shame, but we will make it up again later in the week.
But it did mean I could go home even earlier. So I set off home. But on the way I decided to go spend the £10 reward token that's been in my wallet for over a year now in W.H.Smith. I bought a lovely new sketching set. Comprising of all sorts of things, no actual sketching pencils, but I already have those. But it includes sepia pencils, Sanguine Oil pencils. I'll have lots of fun experimenting with all of those.
Then on the way home, I had a mini chance at breaking the stereotype of youth as I offered to help this elderly man who was sitting on the side of the curb covered in blood :/ But the people he was with said that they were okay. So I walked on by, glad I had offered. When I got home I just spent the remainder of the day watching property programs (which I love). And had a quick nap before I left for chamber rehearsals.
This was just a very quick photo I took of the pencils. Got back quite late tonight because I also went to the station to finish off sorting out my train ticket for work experience next week. (All complete now whey). So I just grabbed a few of the things in the tin and took a photo. All it is, plain and simple.
