The Apple Stretching

Another photo from my show, black and White in colour. This is printed on plastic and was one of a series of three. It has not been digitally altered in any way. So why is the apple black?
Well you will just have to figure that out yourselves.
In case you are wondering about the other two, one is in my mother's kitchen and the other in my brother's kitchen.
