End of an Aga
Mark the Aga surgeon dissects the ancient beast into parts small enough to lug out of the house. It's off to Aga heaven.
A bit of a dilemma about whether it's going to be reused or scrapped. Is it good that someone else should take up our carbon producing mantel? But then if that someone is determined to have an Aga anyway it's better than them buying a new one. And who knows, maybe they'll be able to run it on recycled chip fat.
Mean time the new radiators are going in on a second heating circuit so we can choose just to heat the super insulated core of the house rather than the whole building.
Take away meal tonight I think - or a trip to the pub if there's time.
