Seize the Day

Advantages of an iPad in Meetings:

1. You can read the meeting papers on your iPad, thereby saving trees. (Although you can't do anything about papers they give you at the meeting.)

2. If the meeting is boring, you can read your email, see what's happening on Blipfoto and look up that topic on Wikipedia you keep meaning to find out about, and everyone thinks you're reading your meeting papers.

3. If the meeting is still going on, you can use an iPad2 to take surreptitious pictures of the other attendees. (Though do wait for a noisy moment, as it doesn't seem to be possible to turn off the "shutter click" sound!)

I personally would never do numbers 2 or 3, of course.
