Patterns

While waiting outside the Natural Health Clinic in Nailsworth where Helena works, my eye saw these railings and the Virginia Creeper. I am in a phase of noticing patterns and shapes.

Earlier I had tried to photograph the spines of our rather fat cactus, that has just started producing some hairy forms, which I assume are flowers. But I couldn't record the differentiation between the various forms with the tools I had. I will try again another day.
