Tuesday's Flower(s)

This is our third week of our CSA Flower share. Each week has so far resulted in a minor miracle. The constant worry and nurturing of our flowers has opened my eyes to what real farmers and growers must go through. We are heading into the second heat wave for the summer, haven't seen rain in what seems like ages, the incessant Rabbits and insects and other diseases, can really keep me up at night! This just didn't start three weeks ago. It started in the dead of winter in the planning and seed starting stage. But each Tuesday, a minor miracle is born when we Three Birds pull together our cuttings from the last week and create some really beautiful bouquets. It is such a wonderful feeling to share this beauty with our community. It makes it all worthwhile.
