'Rhonda and Norelle had said they would cross the Aegean on their bicycles and cross the Aegean on their bicycles they jolly well did! When one of their friends suggested that hitching a ride on a Turkish sailing boat and not actually pedaling was cheating, the girls were quick to point out that staying upright in the saddle when a gulet is travelling at full speed or is sailing into a force 4 headwind, is not at all easy.'
