Flint Knapping

My local beach

I hadn't been down our beach at Llantwit Major for quite some time so after weeks of great, sunny weather, I decided to go today in between heavy rain showers. It was blowing a hooley and was almost deserted with some brave windsurfers battling the waves. The cliffs crumble and fall at the drop of a hat and there were fresh falls on the rocks below. We have a reserve (Cwm Colhugh) which leads to the beach/cliffs and I have many happy memories of my old dog chasing rabbits and getting stuck in rabbit holes. She never came near to catching one, I hasten to add!
