degree show opening night - 'business' preview

today:

we went to Rudy's school to be and Rudy got to spend time with his class and teacher to be (primary 1b) - he was very brave.
Rudy didn't finish his post school trip treat ice-cream - this immediately set alarm bells ringing and with reason: he has since become quite poorly. Very hot and very sleepy and very flat.

We also - made a cake with icing and strawberries for Chris who came home at last. And brought presents including this wee bird for Alice that tweets (she immediately used it as a weapon against Rudy) Anyway. The words aint coming easy tonight so I'll leave it there. Night.
