Last Hurrah

They do love water, these duckies, and the water feature with the new squirty attachment proved to be no exception. This is the new thing in sports; extreme water fountain surfing. She was quite good at it, he preferred getting splashed.

Tomorrow, they are off to their new, exciting destination where it'll be hot too with lots of thunderstorms and rain predicted for the next ten days. That's the only clue I'm giving.

It's been fun. They arrived during a very busy time for us so all the big plans of taking them camping, kayaking, sightseeing around here and perhaps orchestrating a shoot with a famous local didn't quite pan out. Instead we took them on a ten thousand mile family trip and back, which was an equally busy time for us.

I will miss the little quackers.
