To rockaway rockaway from cullercoats and whitley

Sorry for the Dire Straits Lyric. Appropriate though as I shot this at Cullercoats on my way home from Whitley Bay. I was over at the coast do a little more pottering in my garage. I've been dipping more locks in caustic soda. Might show my lock restoration work later in the week if they're suitably shiny. Got to let highly alkali water attack 80 odd years worth of thick gloss paint first!

On my way home I thought I'd make use of the fading light to take a few shots. This one was shot using welding glass hence the long exposure and nice smooth water.

Is it really the 8th of June already? How did that happen?
