Here comes the sun

Got the boys off to nursery and school in good time this morning, with the absolute minimum of faffing about and fuss. And almost no shouting, which was nice. Phew.

As the broadband at the office is still kaput, I was working at home today. So before I started, I thought I'd take a walk along the edge of the golf course, to see what the sunrise would look like. It was a cold, crisp morning, bright and clear - but looking in the direction of the sun, there wasn't much going on in the sky.

Couldn't feel my fingers any more, so I turned round and started to head back home. That was when I noticed that the morning sun was doing something pretty spectacular after all.
