Nightlife

Well after a cool & windy morning spent wandering down into town, the weather has now taken a turn for the better.

We explored Lagos town this morning, it seemed very quiet and there wasn't much going on, but as we went back for lunch the sun broke through. So after a nice lunch on the balcony we were finally able to go down to the pool to sunbathe.

And... I braved the pool, which was about as cold as when school once made us go canoeing on Linlithgow Loch in January!

But, the weather held good, so we now finally feel like we're on holiday.

At night we went back down to town for dinner where I had some lovely sardines & WSMBM had the traditional PiriPiri Chicken. A good meal even if we were interrupted a few times by the local stray dog complete with suspect tumours hanging off his undercarriage (just what you want to see at dinnertime!)

Last stop was the townsquare complete with local wildlife - it's not only Edinburgh that has pandas you know!

Now back to the balcony for a nightcap and some alfresco Blipping! A good first day of the holiday all in all.
