Tea in London

Day one: Oxford-London. We carted four suitcases and four rucksacks to Paddington, then on to St Pancras - although not without some difficulty (forgetting that the District Line ends at Edgware Road, where there are no lifts...). I am in debt to Spanish strangers. Then, tea with an old friend. She has recently finished writing her first novel, and cut herself a fringe.
