Room With A View

I am on a funny old shift this week, working from 14.30 until 21.30. It has obvious advantages (lie-in, leisurely start to the day etc) but it does mean that it is difficult to get into the stride of the day, knowing that you have to leave for work at some point. Pah! But, as blip impacts every part of my life now, the worst part is having to upload so late at night - tonight (Wednesday), at 2340, the computer just didn't want to play and everything was so slow, that I am doing this as a backblip. Sniff........

Anyhoo, most of today I have been in a bit of a discomfort. I am not quite sure what I have done and can't quite decide whether it is my hip or lower back that hurts but something does. The reason I am telling you this is because I would like you to admire my fortitude because taking this photo involved standing on the draining board in our kitchen at work, and hanging out the window at rather a precarious angle. So, with a bit of effort, this is the view from our kitchen window.

I won't tell you that, when trying to retreat, I fell off the draining board and landed in rather an undignified heap on the floor amidst much clattering. Strangely my hip/back has been much better since then!
