Poppies

Poppies have long been used as a symbol of both sleep and death.
Sleep because of the opium extracted from them, and death because of the common blood-red color of the red poppy in particular.
They're everywhere at the moment, these were in a field just outside Chesterfield.
Across the road there was a field with loads more unfortunately the shadow of a cloud was over that field and the light wasn't so good.
The light at the moment with huge clouds sweeping over is incredibly variable and you can get sunburnt or soaked within minutes!
A couple of days ago there was a moment where I came across a road with a visible line across it where the rain had stopped.
