Freak#2
They say that dogs are more intelligent than cats, after all you never see a cat leading a visually impaired person around the shops, or sniffing out drugs at the docks - but I am not so sure. Most educationalist subscribe to theories of multi-intelligence i.e you can be very good at maths (number smart), but very poor linguistically (word smart.) I think cats are very smart (manipulation smart)
A typical cat's brain weighs 30g. That is 0.9% of it's body mass, compared to a humans 2%. Why then does Freakle have the run of the house, a comfortable bed of his own that he uses when the sun is not shining on a human's bed upstairs, meals on demand and, via the cat flap, access to the wide world. In addition, he makes himself at home around the neighbours; he enjoys second breakfast over there, sitting in front of their log burner, and drinks out of their fish tank.
Curiousity never killed the dog!
However cat's do not join us mad englishman when we go out in the mid day sun!
Anyway, Freaks basket looks a nice comfortable place to be.
Lets hope the weather stays nice, and that tomorrow is does not rain dogs and dogs!
