white instead of yesterdays red rose....

my very absolutely FAV flower...... lovely memories of being courted by my man 25 yrs ago...each day he cut me a white rose from the garden when I left for my digs....

yesterday I said that red roses have connotations with the passion side of love....so white for me...is the pure love......when I compared the branches on each rose...I noticed
there are much less and only tiny thorns on the white rose....the red rose has fierce thorns...

does make you think...doesn't it....?
