Wild blue

T and Mia brought me these cornflowers from their evening walk. I love them. They're growing wild all over the fields at the moment.


Stoneware jug by a Belgian potter whose name I've forgotten. Bought at a country fair a long time ago, when Belgian francs were still in use.

Small Japanese tea cup, 20 cents, and old bevelled oak mirror, 5 Euros, both charity shop finds.

p.s. I think I like to record what my charity shop finds cost, not to impress (or depress) anyone, but as a reminder that pretty things don't have to be valuable or expensive. The best things in life - like this thoughtful bunch of flowers - are free.
