Hello Mr Frog

My daughter has become obsessed with frogs. Her school is situated in a forest, and on Monday they went on a nature walk where they discovered an abundance of frogs - literally hundreds of them hopping all over the place. They were shown how to pick them up and move them away from the path so that they didn't get squished. So, everyday this week, before school and after school, we have to go and search for frogs.

Olivia is not squeamish at all and picks as many up as she can - "You see Mummy, all you do is pick them up and chuck them into the bushes, so they don't get squashed". I watch horrified as she lobs the little frogs to 'safety'.

I'm sure the frogs would rather take their chances on the footpath than being 'helped' by a three year old.
