Stairs in the Museum

My friend has had an exhibition of paintings showing in the local museum for the last three weeks and I met her in there today to say goodbye, before she heads back to Germany. The museum didn't want me to take photos of the exhibits, but I reckon the staircase didn't count!

It was certainly warmer in the museum than outside - it's been another day of sleety snowy showers and a maximum temperature of 3.5 deg C. So much for spending the Easter weekend in the garden!

Just come in from the Easter vigil at church - it was held at 8pm this year instead of midnight - a much more reasonable hour! Sang the psalm as a solo and although I'd been worried about it, in the end it went fine. Busy time of year, church wise, but when the candles are all lit in the dark church, and you think about what it all means, it does make you realise it is all worth while.
