Playing the long game

In the unfortunate war between Man and Nature, I'm playing the long game and betting on Nature. Even so, it's upsetting to see the base resentment we show for the world around us; it's so self destructive. In the grand scheme of things, we are really not that important. The sooner we realise that, the better for us, our children and the planet we call 'home'.

I couldn't reach down far enough to pull out the beer can out of the river. I did try.
