Gulliver's Favorite Game

Gulliver and I play a game with his toy. I play "fetch" while he plays "keep away" at the same time. I throw the toy down the stairs; he races after it, then dashes back up the stairs where I am waiting for him. But then he hangs onto the toy with all his strength and tugs and tugs, while I try to get it back so I can throw it again. He loves the game...even though we are playing by different rules.
