Mr Basil

I'm feeling very proud at the moment and the reason why is that I have 3 plants at the moment that are doing well and that I have grown from seed.

I've never managed that before. There are 2 sunflowers that are doing really well in pots in the back garden but my personal fav is Mr Basil.

Ant always gets me an educational pressie at Christmas time & this year I got some seeds that you grow in gel in a test tube. I set it up and then forgot about it. A couple of weeks ago I managed to pull a few seedlings out, a couple then died but this little fighter has done me proud.

At the moment he looks like he has a pot belly but he's thriving in the kitchen.

It will be a shame to feed him to the pigs!
