The thistle has been the national emblem of Scotland since the reign of Alexander III (1249?1286) .
The thistle, crowned with the Scottish crown, is the symbol of seven of the eight Scottish Police Forces
Complete lack of inspiration today for a blip. I cycled by the floral clock on my way home from work thinking it might be a colourful photo. It's in it's transformation stage so no photo there.
John joined us for tapas tonight hence the late entry here. We succeeded in boring him to death entertaining him with our 554 Mexico photos. As always he was very polite!!
